This is one of those Abayas that you can either dress up for a formal look or dress down for a more casual attire.
This abaya consists of three layers, each divided by a patterned velvet strand. These strands are also incorporated on the sleeves. As for the layers, the abaya gets more loose and flowy as each layer progresses. The top strand of the abaya has a rope-like belt in order to control the looseness of the first layer, giving it form. And the bottom layer is the only layer that includes pleats which gives the whole attire a flared look.
